ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assisting with website edits and updates; uploading and maintaining curricular materials on websites in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements; training and assisting district staff in updating school webpages; providing clerical services; assisting with Open Records management and ensuring proper document redactions as needed. Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.

  

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:

High school diploma required.  Some college training preferred.

 

Experience:

Experience with website content management system (CMS) or learning management system (LMS).

           

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain effective relations with central office personnel, principals, administrators, media specialists, and teachers.
  2. Operate a variety of office equipment and accessories; including but not limited to      computers and software applications used in the performance of assigned duties.
  3. Upload approved documents to district website and learning management system.
  4. Help identify website content that is outdated or in need of updates.
  5. Monitor the upload process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of publicly available information.
  6. Monitor website updates to ensure needed edits have been made.
  7. Serve as a liaison to Office of Academic Achievement and Programs to assist in matters pertaining to the curricular documents available on the website.
  8. Monitor the Webmaster inbox to determine questions and requests are sent to the correct person.
  9. Maintain appropriate safeguards for information and documents within the Office of Academic Achievement and Programs as well as the Communications Department.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Communications Officer.
